Cuts archwire flush distal to the buccal tube and holds the severed section between the beaks so it can be lifted clear of the mouth in one movement. Tungsten carbide inserts are fitted for edge life.
Intended use. Flush distal trimming of archwire with safe retention of the cut segment.
